Brigitte Macron welcomed Emma Watson at the Elysée, and Denis Mekwege, Nobel Prize of Peace, and a bunch of Women Feminist, to discuss the Gender Equality, before the question is addressed during the G7 under French Presidency to be held 24-26 August in Biarritz with the agenda of « GFIghting against Inequalities ».
Emma Watson, The famous British actress is also an activist and an ambassador for women, which why she was invited by the French President Emmanuel Macron to participate in the first Council for Equality between Women and Men. The G7 of Biarritz this year, in particular, is committed to promoting equality between women and men in the world, and the President Macron, wishes to no longer wait and sit in France deploying « An ambitious feminist diplomacy", with in focus the next G7, which will be held in Biarritz next August. To do this, The French Head of State, called on personalities committed to thinking about girls' education, violence against women and women's entrepreneurship.

Emma Watson arrived at the Elysee accompanied by the Mauritanian feminist activist Aïssata Lam. The actress was welcomed on the steps of the Elysée by Brigitte Macron.
