The International Human Rights Commission SMM-IHRC (Special Monitoring Mission - International Human Right Commission in Italy), has awarded a certificate of gratification and recognition, simple in form but profound in content, under the recommendation of Cav. Prof. Salvatore Rizza (SMM IHRC Volunteer), at Caritas A. Petyx in Casteltermini, for his commitment to helping the weakest and families who found themselves in difficulty during the pandemic with devotion and a spirit of sacrifice.
We thank the IHRC for honoring us with this recognition, said Concetta Consiglio, spokesperson and volunteer of Caritas, and in particular Cav. Prof. Salvatore Rizza for remembering Caritas and reporting us.
We have faced many difficulties, fears and obstacles; but having been there has made a difference in the lives of many families; there were many families who knocked on our door to ask for basic aid and so on.

We have faced many difficulties, fears and obstacles; but having been there has made a difference in the lives of many families; there were many families who knocked on our door to ask for basic aid and so on.
It was very gratifying to receive this certificate of recognition, but with this we do not want to forget all the private benefactors and associations who have collaborated with us and whom we want to thank.
We also want to remember all the Caritas volunteers who, even if they were absent during the pandemic period, for reasons of age or health, have always supported us in our initiatives, in particular our ex-manager Crocetta Cuffaro.
In the name of the parish priest Don Carmelo, president of Caritas, and of Mr Nicolò Minnella, appointed coordinator in the period of emergency, and of all Caritas, we renew our heartfelt thanks to all “.
By delegation of the National Coordinator of the IHRC Cav. Rag. Pietro Sicurelli, Cav. Prof. Salvatore Rizza delivers the certificate to the archpriest Don Carmelo Lo Bue and to Mr Nicolò Minnella, thanking them and congratulating them, in his name and the coordinator's name, for the precious contribution they offered, with the concrete actions taken to combat the inconveniences caused by the pandemic.
